After spending ages wandering the Miniland village, the kids were desperate to go on a ride, so we took them on the Lego Train, which took a tour around the Miniland area:

The train ride was a standard slow travel train ride, it gave some great views of Miniland and also some teasers as we skimmed past other areas
Lego Safari:
Next the kids went on the Lego Safari, which was a tour through a safari park of lego animals. The cars were a little too small for Kris and I to go on, so we let the kids go alone and just took photos. Alana took a camera with her to get some shots of the animals we couldn't see from the fence. The kids enjoyed the ride but it was really tailored for young children.

Caterpillar
The Caterpillar was one ride we skipped on the first day, but on the second day while I took the boys on another ride on the Dragon, Alana went on the Caterpillar. She said it spun very fast but was fun, she went on it twice.

Frog Hopper
This was a kids version of the tower drop. We didn't end up riding it.

LegoTop
After we rode the safari we took a ride on the LegoTop, which was a tower ride that rose and rotated to give a view of the park and also of the neighboring original Lego Factory. The kids liked it, Kris wasn't too keen on the heights, but the view was awesome.

Miniboats
The Miniboats was a short ride on semi-steerable boats through a variety of World Landmarks. The models were very impressive. Tom steered my boat and we crashed multiple times, but the ride still pulls you along without a problem. AT one point Kris moved her camera bag just as a duck jumped into the water and the resulting 'Plop' made her worry that she had dropped the camera in the water.

Monorail:
The monorail was one of the last few rides we went on. It was another scenic trip, this time around Miniland and Duploland.

SEAT Traffic School
The SEAT Traffic School was an additional cost so we didn't do it - plus the instructions were in Danish so it would hard for the kids to follow. Essentially it teaches kids road rules and how to drive using lego cars. Upon completion the kids get a drivers licence.

And a final pic for all you Starwars nerds out there - for some reason Poe Dameron has changed skin colour (well he's become Finn)....
|
Poe? It's a little small but the text on the price tag says "Poe Dameron 299 kr" |
And from there we left Miniland and moved on to Duplo Land and then Imagination land - see the next posts for more details
