We stayed at the Kviberg Hostel and Cottages just outside of Göteborg. The cabin was small but it was cheap and we only needed it for the night. It consisted of a single bedroom with a bunk and single bed, a toilet with shower and a kitchen/lounge that had two couch beds for Kris and I:

The bathroom - for anyone who has seen pics of our current place, it seems red bathrooms are our theme |
|
The kids room - Cameron had the bed on the right, Tom had the top bunk and Alana had the bottom. |
|
The lounge and my bed (under the window) and Kris's (on the right). the back of the couch lifted up to reveal a mattress topper. |
|
The kitchen, taken from the same spot as the above shot. The door leads into the bathroom the kids bedroom door is on the right out of shot. |
|
The best part was the snow! - It didnt fall while we were there, but there was plenty still around. |

More snow |

There was an awesome building just behind us, but I never managed to work out what it was |

It was Grandma's birthday while we were in the cabin, so Kris took this pic for us to send to her |
Overall the cabin was comfortable - it was a little on the small side and the couches didn't make the best beds, but it was cheap. 850kr (about $120) a night compared to most of the other places in Göteborg that were looking for over 1200kr ($200). We had a private toilet and some cooking facilities, but most importantly a roof over our heads and a place to sleep while we explored some of the sights of Göteborg.
The only downside was me slipping on a patch of ice on the way out to pack the car and doing a pretty cool flip before slamming down on my shoulder and back. I managed to hold the bag of IPads up as I fell and luckily managed to take the hit on my shoulder, but it was a nice fall. The kids missed it all as they were playing on their IPads at the time.
