Our trip to Göteborg - Liseberg Theme Park - Part 2, Tomte's Workshop (Post 4 of 8)

The log flume ride was closed for Winter (not really a surprise) but in its place was something much cooler - A full Tomte's workshop display.

The kids were disappointed to find it wasn't a ride, but were soon laughing at the tomte's zooming across the roof to power the furnace or deliver presents (for a description about Tomte's and Jul Tomte, see one of my earlier posts)

At first we thought it was just going to be a sit on Santa's lap but we passed through a big snow arch and through a snow covered forest into a tomte village.

Tomtefar also means Father Christmas (Father Tomte)

There was a full Christmas display of Tomtes inside - including a conveyor belt that made the toys, wrapped them and then dropped them into Santa's sack ready to go.
