Christmas Concert

I had this week off work in order to get some Christmas shopping and to pick up our Swedish person cards - we're now officially registered as Swedish residents!

The other bonus was that I got to attend the kids Christmas concert, where the class groups sang carols and Christmas songs in both Swedish and English.  One thing I like about the school is that all the kids are required to participate in all events, so children participate in the Christmas celebrations regardless of their religion and likewise our kids have visited a Mosque and a Synagogue as well as learning about other cultures.  They arent forced into any beliefs but religion or background isnt used as an excuse to prevent them from learning other ways of life.

Cam's Class - Cam is in the back row on the left in the black and white striped jumper.

Alana's Class - Alana is in the middle in a purple jumper - she sang and played the recorder.

Tom didnt take part in the concert as it was a bit too much for him, being the last week and lots of noise and people.
