We'd had a pretty slow week - I started by coming down with gastro on Tuesday, Kristine on Wednesday and Alana on Thursday. By Friday we were all better but the week had disappeared.
Saturday, Cameron had been invited to play at one of his friends houses, so we dropped him off and noticed that they were right next to Folketspark so we decided to have a wander to maybe have a play and see if we could find any more statues for our Bingo game.
We had considered taking the kids ice skates but, after they all had a tantrum when we told them to get off Minecraft so we could leave, we decided not to.
The day was pretty wet and Folketspark was under some pretty heavy reconstructive work, getting ready for summer. That meant that we didn't really get much chance for playing - the inflated jump bubble was deflated also.. Even the statues were looking worse for wear...

We found this guy sitting on a bench... |
But it looks like the zombies found him (and his brains first).... |
It turned out that someone had stolen his hat, but Tomas was quite interested in checking for brains |
Folkets was in a pretty dismal state:
Mud! |
More Mud! |
The kids were upset that the bouncy cushion was deflated. |
In the end, we did find something. This was a dance competition - the instructions were in Swedish which made it hard, but essentially it called out colours or numbers and the kids had to run to them:
Dance Battle! (more like randomly running) |
It looks like someone had already found the best way to play with the Dance Battle:
It helped them dance, honest. |
Kris was also concerned that there were no octopi allowed:
No Octopi! (its actually no swimming but it does look a bit suss) |
We eventually decided to leave the mud-pit.. I mean park.. and we headed to a shopping centre called Mobilia. Kris enjoyed the fabric and hobby shops and the kids liked the toy store:
Lego |
I thought this game looked interesting... |
By the time we finished up it was time to head back and pick up Cameron.
