April was a pretty busy month, with rugby starting up again and the Old Boys tour to Glasgow.
On the 13th, Kristine and I had a date night - visiting the Malmö Food Festival and seeing Bill Bailey at the Slagthuset theatre.
The food festival was a little underwhelming this year, much smaller than the last ones we had been to, and the weather didn't help. We ended up having a seafood paella, which was also a little disappointing and bought some fudge.
After the food festival we headed out to Slagthuset to watch Bill Bailey's Thoughtifier tour. It was a great show and lots of laughs:
On the 27th I played my first rugby game of the year against Lund in Lund and we won 39-12. The next day we attended the Sci-F convention - Sci-Fi World which was also hosted at Slagthuset this year. We'd previously attended this when we were in Sweden last trip when it was hosted in Combihallen. Slagthuset was a much bigger venue which made it much less crowded. The stalls were interesting, but it felt a little underwhelming for the entry price:
