Drive from Kiruna - 6 - Driving to Rovaniemi (2 Jan 23)

 Today we left Kiruna to head to our next stop - Rovaniemi in Finland.

After a beautiful sunrise and decent breakfast, the morning was spent packing bags and loading the car and then we were off. We stopped at a few shops in Kiruna and then began the 4 and a half hour drive to Rovaniemi.  With the time difference (+1 hour) we arrived in Rovaniemi about 6pm.

The temperature dropped quite a bit, with a minimum of -23 degrees C.

Our apartment in Rovaniemi was awesome, and once we'd unloaded the bags we took a walk into central Rovaniemi to get some dinner and groceries:
