Picnic at Torup - 02-Oct

After a relaxing Saturday catching up with friends for an awesome roast, we were invited out on Sunday by the expats to a picnic at Torup.

Torup is the site of a castle and park, about 30minutes drive our place in Malmo.  The castle was built in the 16th century and the parks around it are popular for picnics and BBQs.

We caught up with the other expats and got a BBQ fire started and began cooking, while the children explored and played.

It was a bit wet and muddy but everyone had fun and after we finally managed to get the BBQs going, it was a great day.  Good to catch up with the other Aussies and the kids had a ball playing soccer (pardon the pun) and climbing around on the play equipment.

Overall it was a nice relaxing weekend and Kris' back was finally starting to feel a little better.
