Today started a bit quieter, with a sleep in and slow breakfast. Cameron was tired and Tomas had homework to do, so Kris and I left the boys behind and took a short drive to Warhammer World in Nottingham. We had been there before on the last England trip but, I'm a nerd, so I'm always keen to go.
We did a tour of the exhibits and grabbed lunch in the restaurant before picking up a few things from the shop:

After Warhammer World, we headed back to pick up the kids and then we had an exciting evening planned. One of our family friends was playing back-up goal keeper for Aston Villa and had managed to get us tickets to the Carabao Cup game between Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, and better yet, he was starting goalkeeper for the game.
The drive to Villa Park wasn't too bad, but finding a park was not easy. The roads were clogged with match-goers as well as the construction workers who had just signed off for the day. After much yelling, cursing, pleading, crying and screaming, we finally found a carpark that accepted card payments (we had no cash), and made our way to Villa Park for the game.
The end result wasn't what we hoped for (Villa lost to Crystal Palace 2-1) but it was great to see a Premier League game and watch Joe play.
