In June, I needed to return to Malmö again for work. I flew out of Adelaide on the 6th of June and returned home on the 25th June. This time I was lucky enough to avoid Covid and stick to schedule.
Unlike my last trip, this one was in the middle of summer and was pretty warm. I left just before the big heatwave, but the weather was in the high 20s. My hotel room ended up sitting at about 28 degrees most days, which wasn't the most comfortable.
The flights over were pretty uneventful - I ended up getting a decent sleep on the way to Doha and this time the airport was much busier:

On the 11th I headed over to Copenhagen again for the day - this time aiming for the Faroes Cigars shops and Tivoli theme park.

The next weekend I intended to head over to Liseberg themepark in Gothenburg on Saturday, but tickets were limited due to Covid and sold out. Instead I booked tickets for the Sunday and decided to visit the Nationell totalförsvarsdag (18-6-22) (National Total Forces Day). This was a day where the 'total forces' of Sweden demonstrated their capabilities. Total Forces included civilian and military, ranging from communications, rescue, civil service all the way to navy, army and airforce.

On the Sunday I headed up to Gothenburg by train and visited Liseberg themepark:
The last week, I took a work trip to Karlskrona and the naval base.

The plaque reads:
I humbly beg of you,
even though my voice may be weak,
come and put a penny in
but first lift my hat.
Blessed are those that care for the poor.
The hat can be lifted revealing a coin slot.
