Catching Up Part 2 - 2019

October 2019 started with my friend Julian's Bucks Show at Oktoberfest in Adelaide.  It was a fun day, with lots of beer and people pretending to be German (12-October).

On the 18th of October I got my first Tattoo in remembrance of my two friends - Daniel J and Saint.  When Saint passed away in 2014, Daniel got a memorial tattoo for him.  Since we met playing as Alliance on World of Warcraft, Daniel got the alliance shield with St7 for SaintSeven in the middle:

I wanted to get something to memorialize both friends, so I went with the same shield, but instead of the Warcraft Blue, I went with the Onkaparinga Rugby team Red and Black, with Daniel's number 12.  I then went with crossed warhammers to represent our characters, marked with ST7 (for SaintSeven) and DJ13 for Daniel and his favourite number.

My Tattoo Artist was Astro at the Victor Harbour Tattoo shop and I was really happy with the results.

A few days later I got my second tattoo - the Onkaparinga Rugby club logo complete with the years I have won the Premiership.

On the 20th of August we had a visit from Penny and Dave, my Uncle and Aunt from the USA and we took them for a tour around a few of our favourite places - Victor Harbour, Urrimbirra Wildlife Park, Horsehoe Bay and Port Elliot:

On the 13th of October we took a trip to Monarto Zoo - an open plains zoo featuring mostly African animals:

In December Alana performed in a dance - Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan.  We also visited the Christmas lights at Westminister School again - same as in 2018.

We spent Christmas with friends and family and New Years watching the fireworks and Daniel and Jessie's house.
