After the Savanna, the next area was the Öken (Desert), with Kulan (Turkmenian Kulan), Jak (yak) and Kamel (camel):
The highlight of this area was watching the camels eating a piece of bark:

My bark! No my bark! |
After the Öken we stopped at the Skogshund (Bush Dog) enclosure:

We stopped at the Varg (Wolves) enclosure to see the wolves being fed:

After the wolves, we headed to Bamse word. Bamse is a famous Swedish cartoon bear who eats Dunderhonung (Thunder-Honey) to become the most powerful bear in the world. Bamse world is the children's area of the park with rides and play areas:

Farmor (Grandma's) house |
Shopping area |
The Viktoria (Pirate shop ride) and GodisTåget (Lolly Train - Rollercoaster) |
The text reads "Absolutely don't press this button" - So Tom pressed it - it made water squirt up from the play area |
Dunderhonugsburkarna (Thunder Honey Pots - Teacup ride) |

Then came the Chimpanzees:
Baby is just hanging around |
Feeding time - frozen peas |
You've got something in your eye |
Feeding time outside meant onions! Lots of onions |
This chimp was rubbing its onion on the other chimp's butt and then laughing |
The final exhibit were the gibbons:
The final section of the park was Marine World, with 2 rides, a seal show and a dolphin show:
Delphinexpressen (The dolphin express) |
Sjörövarskeppet (Pirate Ship) |
Säl (Seal) Show |
Waving |
We booked our tickets for the dolphin show at 2:00pm on the second day - it was pretty impressive:

I have a video of the whole show, but it was 2.7Gb, too big to fit on the blog.
That ended our time in Kolmården. We had a good night's sleep and the next day we were due to head back to Malmö.
