Our 2nd Swedish Christmas

We finished up Christmas Eve with some card games and few drinks and then Santa visited while we were all in bed.  In Sweden, Santa traditionally knocks on the door on the 24th of December and delivers the presents in person, but we kept with the Australian ways.

We started the morning with presents from Santa, then opened the presents to each other. We had a traditional Australian roast for lunch - chicken, pork, beef and vegetables and then some Christmas cake.

It was a great day, but, unfortunately, Kristine had a reaction to some Brazil nuts and we ended up in hospital for the evening.  Once she got the all-clear we returned home for an early night.

Probably the most exciting present that we all got was an invite from Santa to come visit him and his workshop in Rovaniemi in northern Finland/Lapland.  We were leaving late on Boxing Day (26th) so we spent a bit of time packing and getting ready.

Here are some of our random shots from the day:

Malmo FF Scarf
Disney Infinity discs
